Medu Vada means ‘soft fritter’. A delicious South Indian fritter type savoury doughnut, made from Vinga mungo and lentils. Crispy on the outside and light and fluffy inside. Traditionally served as a breakfast dish, but can be enjoyed as a light snack.
Served with our vegetable dal stew sambar and two chutneys. Onion and tomato chutney and coconut chutney. This dish includes four Medu Vada in this order.
