Dahi Puri is a traditional light bite dish and eaten in the evening as a snack and a form of chaat. Puri’s are made from flour and then fried in hot oil, until they fluff up to create a shell.
We break the top of the shell and then fill the crispy shells with ragda, which is yellow peas and chutney, topped with sweet yoghurt and a sev garnish, finished with juicy and brightly coloured pomegranate seeds. Sev is a very popular Indian snack made from chickpea flour paste and seasoned, deep fried to create a crunchy noodle.
Eight Dahi Puri served in one portion.
